I bought this dipe for a night-time solution for my heavy wetter-a toddler boy who sleeps on his tummy. At first I loved it, but we did have occasional leaks even w/ a doubler. As time went on I got tired of the long drying time and too many leaks. I returned the dipe to Crickett's for a full refund. Crickett has an awesome try-it policy and is very sweet. I do say try the dipe-it could be for you. It's just not our night-time dipe like I hoped it would be.

I notice the vast majority of these reviews are from people who have only owned these diapers a few months.
I am updating my review after over a year of use.
My daughter outgrew the newborn size at 6 months of age and 17 pounds. As many have already said, the rise is too small and the fitting of the snaps is off.
I bought the toddler size, 10 to be exact. I might have washed these twice weekly with the recommended soaps. They were outing diapers only and not in heavy rotation.
- After less than a year of use, ALL of them are wearing thin around the snaps with holes in them.
- Some of them are becoming threadbear on the inside.
- The elastic is shot in the backs of the diaper and around the legs on some of them.
- The fabric is extremely scratchy and has aggravated her eczema from time to time.
I used to recommend these diapers but I can no longer do so.
I invested a lot of money into them and thought they would be a mainstay in our stash through our next child but I will be lucky to get through just ONE child.
Please be aware before you purchase.

I didn't have any issues with absorbency, but I found the fit of these diapers to be all wrong for my babe. It seems no matter how tight I snap them, the leg openings are too loose, and the waist ends up being too tight. I thought the price was great, and the idea of less sizes is what intrigued me, along with all the good reviews. But these are the last thing I reach for now in my stash because of the awkward fit. Im glad they arent the only kind I have!

I really was hoping to love these diapers since I'd read so many great reviews, but I've found others that I prefer. Maybe I need to keep trying to see if they fit better as my little guy gets bigger (1) for a better physical fit and (2) so that leaks from EBF poop won't be an issue. If there were more snaps at closer intervals, maybe I could get a better fit...?
PROS:
-Relatively absorbent
-Versatile sizing (NB to 26 lbs)
CONS:
-EBF poop leaks every time
-Bulky
-Too tight around the waist, too loose around the thighs for my little guy
-Very stiff/crunchy after drying

This is a very high quality, versatile diaper. My son will be one in a few weeks and still fits in the newborn size. He wears these every night and on longer car trips because they are more absorbent than any other diaper we've tried. The snap-in doubler is a great feature!

My husband and I LOVE these diapers. They make up the best half of our stash (the other half being prefolds.) DH was a little hesitant about cloth diapering our twins, fearing it would be too much work, but these diapers has made a believer and advocate of him. He brags about his ""Cricketts"" whenever he can! We started using them when our girls were five months old. Even then, these dipes were great - totally absorbent and easy to use. But now that our twins are 17 months old and sometimes fight diaper changes, it's a pleasure to be in and out of the diaper with only a few snaps. Good for grandparents and babysitters too. The snaps also make laundry easy.
Very clever design! The pattern has worked perfectly for us so far, and gives us a lot of options for fit. Also excellent quality. We use them in fairly heavy rotation and they've held up well. I can see our toddler diapers thinning after 9 months of use, but there's a lot of life left in them. I think they will outlast their need, which is ideal.
Very reasonable price!
Things to keep in mind:
We do prefer the hemp diapers, for fit and softness. My babies grew out of the newborn size early. Finally, prepping the diapers was hard on my washing machine.
Overall, these are fantastic diapers!

After 2 and a half months of use, I am pleased with this purchase. I bought this specifically to be a nighttime diaper for my son, now 5 months. He really hates a wet diaper and I don't want him waking up at night because he feels wet. These work really well, no leaking. They definitely get soaked at night but I have so far not found anything that works better.

After all the research I did, I was sure these were going to be our CDs of choice. However, I found we're just not a fitted diaper family, we do the pocket diapers. I found these to be extremely bulky under my son's clothes. I also realized, because hemp is so absorbant, it also takes much longer to dry in the dryer or on the line. Our microterry inserts from our pocket diaper dry completely in one dryer round, where these would take three or more than a day on the line even if partly dried in the dryer. I think the elastic gathering makes it harder to dry as well, doesn't lie flat. I will say that they are a good fit and we didn't really have leaking problems. I think they are well made, unlike others experiences. I also like the recommended cover for them as well and still use the cover with prefolds when needing to use zinc oxide, and I use these with zinc oxide in times of a diaper rash too.
As far as customer service, Crickett was super friendly and answered all my CD questions like how many diapers should I get and gave advice on washing. At times it was difficult to contact her and our registry orders got misplaced.
Overall it's nice to have a few in my stash, but I had to keep looking for a different type of diaper. We do FB now for the pocket, and might consider BG to try something new.

These diapers are THE answer to a heavy wetter. They have the most layers and are still relatively trim. After 3 years of continual use they are showing signs of wear. However, they still absorb great quantities of output and I have rotated only 5 diapers for the past 3 years of continual use at night.
I cannot give enough praise to these diapers as I searched for over a year to find the best solution for DD #1 and did not find it before she was potty learned. Now, I am convinced these are the best for my children as #2 & #3 pee a lot at night. These are a great investment.
I purchased size large because I wanted to only purchase 1 size. I would fold them down and snapi them until they fit better (about 15 lb on a chunky baby or 19 on a bit trimmer baby)
All of my children are/ were super soakers . At 4 months & 15 pounds I used the large on DD #2 because she is really chubby, she pees a lot at night. AS well if it didn't work I wanted to use them on my older dd.
AT first we were almost able to make it through the night with these by themselves, but we added an extra hemp insert to fully make it... which was great considering I used 4 inserts in a large FB.
After a few months and teething was over We were able to make it through the night with only 1 soaker.

I do really like this diaper. It's extremely absorbant, and has lasted longer, because of the versatility of the design, than my other fitteds. It also contains very well - we have never had any blow outs or leaks. We cannot use this diaper as a night diaper though because my son is such a heavy wetter. I would also prefer to try the 100% cotton version because the hemp combo can feel a bit ""crunchy"" after many washes. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this diaper.
Crickett runs a tight ship and is very professional and ships quickly, too.

I started my son's life out exclusively in Cricketts fitted hemp/cotton blend diapers. When he outgrew the small/newborn size I decided to try other AIO's and Pocket Diapers in addition to a few Cricketts in my stash.
My daycare center and my husband have been begging me for a few months now to return to the ones that just work... no leaks and are ""easy to install"" in hubby's terms. Six months later and a lot of headaches due to leaking, stuffing and unstuffing very expensive diapers... I am going back to Cricketts full time again.
Thanks Crickett and Michael for an awesome product and great customer service.

Wow! I've been using these for a couple of weeks now and I couldn't be happier! They truly are bulletproof! I've been using them at night and naptime and my newborn can go the entire night in just one diaper. I also use them if we're going out and know the baby won't get changed for a while. I have yet to have a leak or blowout. I love the snap in liner, as it ""fills"" the diaper so there's not a gap between baby and diaper.
My baby is EBF and we've gotten a few stains on the liners, but a few hours in the sun and they're gone!
I can't rave enough about these diapers and I will definitely be buying another set when my DS grows out of these!

We’ve used the small size Cricket’s diapers constantly for 10 months. For the most part they have contained baby mess. I got them based on all the excellent reviews on this site. We have 26 of the small Cricket’s diapers & 3 Sandy’s. They get washed between 2 and 3 times a week. On the positive side, they are definitely durable. It is also very rare for us to have a leak in these when we use the Thirsties diaper covers and a doubler at night.
I do have some small complaints about the diapers. First, the Cricket’s diapers have stretched out over time. This is fine for my 10 month old (who is still wearing them), but I have concerns about putting a stretched out diaper on a new baby. Second, the diaper has also become much thinner and much rougher. Third, as an infant, my son would only sleep on his side (no matter how we put him down). We frequently had leaks at night because there is very little coverage on the sides. This is no longer a problem as my son now sleeps on his stomach.
If I had to do it all over again I would only get 3 of the Cricket’s and 26 of the Sandy’s diapers. They have equivalent sizing and pricing, but the Sandy’s diapers have had none of the negatives that the Cricket’s diapers have had.

I have been using cloth since my 2 year old was a newborn. I bought a Crickett's Diaper used at a local cloth diaper trade meet up and loved it. I now have a newborn as well, and these are the only diapers that work for him. Between both of my kids, I have tried almost every brand out there, and these are the best--they are good quality, absorbant, long-lasting, and afforadable! Also, my kids are built completely different (my daughter is very petite and my son is very chunky), and they work with both body types.

Out of all my variety of diapers this is my favorite to use. Only ones I have NEVER had a leak with - even 10 hours at night with no doubler! It contains even the runniest breastfed poo. I would recommend these to anyone. My only dislike is that the snaps don't give me enough options for fit, seems like my boy is always in between the snaps for best fit, but that's a chance you take with snaps. These are wonderful and a great buy for the price.

I purchased a lot of 8 on DiaperSwappers after reading all of the reviews here. I really LOVE these! They are trim, soft, and super absorbent. I started using them when my ds was 8 weeks old, until now(almost 3 months).
I love the fact that they are hemp/cotton which has antimicrobial properties; therefore, less prone to rashes! I can easily put a doubler or two in there if need be, and the diapers are still easily adjustable with the snaps. These have been able to hold any and all blow-outs, and recently have been used overnight for 8 hours paired with a fleece soaker or longies. NO leaks.
They do take a little longer than regular cotton dipes to dry, but I also use dryer balls to cut some of the drying time, and use the sun when it's available of course.
I have a set of toddler size Crickett's all ready to use when the time comes!

These are beautifully made diapers. I have several of the hemp and one cotton. I think the cotton is a little softer, but they are both really absorbant. I use them a lot during the day and for naps. The only negative thing I might say is that they are a little bulky especially with the soaker in. Overall, I really like these diapers.

These are work horse utility hemp diapers. They are easy to wash and get a good fit. (but not soft at all) Problem is they are super bulky and they did not stand up to my heavy wetter unless I folded the hemp soaker in half and put it up front. This was not very comfortable for baby and made a big bulky ball in the front of his pants. So I wish they were more versatile with the placement of the soaking. If you have a medium to light wetter or a girl that centers the wetness they could work well for you.

I like to see reviews from people who have been using a diaper for a long time! So I wanted to post that these diapers really do last. I have 18 sz 2. The larger size has fit my dd for 13 mo, from 17 thru 28 lbs. Some of the elastics are just a bit loose, but the fabric has held up. Like most hemp, it gets a tad rough over time, but continued use softens them up again. I use dryer balls and the occasional natural Ecover fabric softener treatment. One or 2 may have just a teeny hole here or there. These will definitely be saved for the next baby.
On the fit: Dd is skinny, and I do think this diaper fits better on a bit chubbier kid. BUT- they've still been ok and decently trim on her. For the price, I'd buy this diaper again in a heartbeat, even for a skinny child. I have gotten a worse fit with diapers costing 2 or 3 times as much, so I think this diaper is worth a try. And for the cost, you can send them to someone to dye them for you if you need color, and still spend under 20$ per dipe!!!

THE most absorbent fitted I've tried by far (and I've tried a lot of fitteds:)). I have 7 of these diapers in heavy rotation -- they've held up wonderfully, excellent workmanship. This diaper with no doubler held my toddler's morning flood with NO LEAKS after he held it in for 11-12 hours. Even the fitteds I'd been using for nights couldn't do that without doublers. So they're awesome for nights with a fleece liner and much trimmer than what I'd been using. If I have another baby I will definitely be getting these in the smaller size -- they are awesome. Great price, excellent quality, best absorbency ever. Love them.

This is my absolute favorite fitted diaper! It's my go-to at night and naptime. My DD is a heavy wetter and she leaked through so many other diapers, including disposables. This diaper holds way more than others. The trade-off is that it takes longer to dry, but it's worth it. And for the price, you can't beat it! Thank you Crickett!

A lovely, well-made diaper. Very absorbent and still comes clean every time. It did take a while before the small size fitted my son and I didn’t get a decent fit until he was about 2 months of age and 10 pounds. Personally, I am not good with snaps. They take me too long to adjust and I feel clumsy, but then they are very durable to compensate.

I have tried a LOT of different diapers and the hemp Crickett's is one I can honestly recommend. I use it for overnights with a wool cover and I've never had a leak. It is made very well and it doesn't stain like some of my other hemp fitteds. I appreciate not having to invest in so many different sizes as she grows because they only have 2 sizes which both still fit her even after months of use. They don't stay as soft as they start out before being washed but they do become more and more absorbent the longer I have them. I have a softer diaper but it literally has to be changed every time she wets or it leaks everywhere and Crickett's is bulletproof. I also have Crickett's cotton fleece which performs just as well but I prefer the hemp. PS Amazing customer service

Amazing diaper for an amazing price! This diaper is as good, if not better than some of the $30 diapers out there. I like the hemp but I like the new organic cotton even better (it is so incredibly soft!) - I just ordered 5 more. This diaper with it's snap in doubler and a wool cover keeps my 25 month old dry overnight and she is in it for 12 + hours! I have many different fitted diapers and this is by far my favourite night time diaper. I am looking forward to having more so that I can use them during the day too! Honestly, if I was starting my family over, I think I would only buy Crickett's.

We've been using the toddler+ size for many months now and I can't say enough about these diapers. After trying other popular fitted brands that didn't work so well on my hard-to-fit son, I purchased five of these and I'm happy to say they work just as well as the first day we started using them. The higher rise works wonderfully for my son because he is tall and the legs are accommodating for chubby thighs. They are some of the most absorbent diapers I own and have been used numerous times overnight. I really like how the soaker is attached as it allows for a more comfortable fit, and for a day-time diaper without the snap-in soaker they are some of the trimmest diapers I've seen. Now that we're expecting baby #2 I'll be back to purchase more in the newborn+ size.

I purchased several Crickett's, some prefolds, and some Bumgenius 3.0's before my baby was even born. After a few days of trying them all I had to buy more Crickett's. They are now our staple diaper. We have 18 Crickett's and 3 Bumgenius (I stopped using the prefolds pretty quickly, didn't like them). This stash works well for us for washing every day. They wash wonderfully, I've had no smell, staining, or rash issues (I wash with Tide Free). Even with daily washing they are still the same quality as the day they arrived. I like that there are only two sizes to buy to save a little money. My husband and our parents were a little skeptical at first, but after a 5 minute lesson they now love them too. We've literally never had a leak! They fit great, only a little high under the XS size Thirsties cover, they stick out the top of the cover. He's 12 pounds now and just now moving to the bigger snaps, so I expect them to fit for several more months. The only issue we've had is that when I ordered more our second order was the same size (all with the green thread), but were noticeably larger than our first order. I think they had maybe been making some improvements in fit. I don't really mind b/c I like the larger ones from our second order better. Its only an issue because now some of our liners are bigger than others and you have to match them up in the laundry. I'll be buying the larger size in a few months for sure.

I can't tell you how much this diaper has helped me! It let me sleep longer and with a newborn that means alot! The product is superb. They really know what they are doing! The diapers are so so soft and they stay that way! They are super absorbant and they are thick but also comfy for the little one at the same time. I got my 3 diapers then got right back on and orderd three more. If you are like me you have been reading and reading about the best diapers, spending all this time trying to find something that is A+ and not 30-40 dollars a diaper. This is an absolute steal at 12.95. You won't be sorry! The new cotton one are super nice as well! I would give 10 stars if that was an option.

beautiful diaper! i was utterly crushed that it didn't fit my baby girl. i ordered the largest size, but it didn't fit my 18 pounder for some odd reason... it gapped massively in the front, while being bitingly tight in the back. so strange?? however... the diaper was gorgeous. absolutely gorgeous. i am keeping it because i (godwilling) hope to have at least one more baby and i will use this diaper at that time on the smaller baby. for the record, i asked cricket's about the fit weirdness and neither of us could account for why it might be. they were incredibly nice and offered to take it back, but i wanted to keep it. i really, really liked the diaper and if htey made a larger size i'd be buying a bunch of them. nice people, great product and excellent customer care and concern. you can't go wrong here. highly recommended :)
........
Nov 2008 UPDATE: the diaper fits finally :) one correction. i *thought* i ordered the largest size, but either i didn't and didn't realize it - or i did, but got sent the smaller one by mistake? it's no big deal either way. i'm not sure what the situation was, but i kept trying the diaper on her every month or so hoping that it would fit her eventually and it finally did :) i loved the diaper and just kept trying it! she was about 20 lbs when it fit. i also snipped the back elastic a little so that it wasn't so tight to make the fit better :) i love the diaper. very, very absorbent. takes a little longer to dry than the other diapers, but it's a GREAT little diaper. except she needs the bigger size now for sure.... she's squeezing into them ;) but it's great diaper - especially for the price!!

I LOVE these diapers. Not only are they super soft and adorable, they are so affordable as well. This diaper works better than those other more expensive diapers, and its a fraction of the cost as well. I was so happy, I ordered a few more after I received my first shipment. The snap in doubler was an added bonus! My 21 pound 6 month old is a very heavy wetter. He can last 2-3 hours in one of these without a cover! He lasts all night with a cover as well. I can't say enough how awesome this product is, Crickett is very friendly and it's so nice that she makes such an absorbant thirsty diaper thats affordable. I also love that she uses natural materials and values keeping chemicals and dyes off of baby's skin. This diaper rocks!

When I first ordered these diapers, my order got lost in the mail and Crickett offered me a full refund for the post offices mishap. However, I was not interested in the refund as the reviews from others on these diapers were very positive, I was ademate about waiting to see what happened to my order because I really wanted to try them. So, finally I got my order and I'm so happy that I didn't give up on them!!!! They are wonderful diapers and they are always the first one my husband and I go for first when at home. My son is a heavy wetter so I use the snap-in insert all the time and the diapers are super absorbant. I've never had any leaks with them and when there have been some big poops, the cover has always caught it.
I can't say enough about these diapers and how wonderful Crickett and Mike are with their customer service! Beautifully made, simple diapers that work wonderfully! It's my first time cloth diapering and I'm so glad I chose these! I recommend these to anyone looking for a great fitted diaper!

These diapers are really great. I was amazed the first time I used this diaper on my 15 month old son, and it held up for four hours. They are well made, trim, soft and super absorbent! I have used this diaper nearly everyday for the past two months and it is still just as soft as when we got it. To me, it did seem to run a little large (I bought the toddler size) but nothing to complain about! I wish I would have tried these sooner.

These are such nice diapers.
-They are absorbent, made with high quality organic fabric(no poly blends or inners like many other affordable diapers.
-The craftmanship is imbeccable. The snaps are perfectly set, the stitching is even, the legs do not curl in.
-The fit is so nice too. I have to say that these run big imo. The newborn+ fits my 18 lbs. 8 month old very snug and trim.
I love that they are so affordable as well. I really appreciate that! They are so nice, I know that Crickett can charge more, so keeping them affordable really reflects well on her work ethic.

As for these diapers in particular, I don't have as much experience with cloth as other super-cloth-mamas, but here are a few impressions. I LOVE the fabric -- it is very thirsty and very soft on my toddler's skin. He is an older toddler, so I do need to change him right away when he pees as he pees a lot, and even though this hemp blend is the most absorbent thing I've ever seen, I always use the snap-in liner whether it's naptime or playtime during the day to keep out leaks (still using sposies at night, because he does seem to have quite sensitive skin -- even with the natural fibers, wool covers and using Charlie's Soap, I can't let him just stay in it all night because of rashes, and I've also found he wakes up early from naps when in cloth -- he's just not used to the way they feel quite yet, but I'm hoping that will help with potty training, too!).
The only things I could say as constructive criticism is something that will be a problem for all fitted diapers probably -- for one, he does get little red marks around his legs where the elastic goes (he's not on the big side, he's small-to-average for his age); and the other thing is that they are much harder to get really clean than prefolds, because of the leg gathers -- that's where I always have a hard time with staining there if he has a huge poo and it creeps out to the edges. So I'm not sure you could even do much about those things anyways. I am finding that I prefer the prefolds during waking hours because they do seem a little easier to clean, and I'm also trying to save my Crickett's diapers for when I need something really good. (Like if I'm daring to use them on an outing, or I'm going to put him down for a nap.) :) I almost always use these diapers with Little Beetle woolen covers, and prefolds with the bummis covers -- but sometimes mix it up.
UPDATE: My son is now almost completely out of diapers as he is potty-training and is wearing undies most of th

First, the good things about this diaper: for one, it's very absorbent. Also, it seems extremely well-made! Mine have gotten frequent use for 4 months, and they still look new to me. No tears or visible damage at all...great craftswomanship! :-)
The things I don't really like about them are: The fabric gets sort of rough after awhile. They still (barely) fit my son, but I don't like to use them anymore b/c I can tell they're abrasive on his skin (like around the legs). I've been washing them correctly (using Charlie's soap), so I know the fabric issue doesn't have to do with detergent build-up or anything like that. Also, I wouldn't say the smallest size fits up to 20 pounds, at least not on my son. He's 16 pounds, and the rise is so low that he's about grown out of them. Lastly, I'm not a big fan of the closures (snaps) in general...it always seems like the diapers are too tight, or if you go up a notch, suddenly way too loose.

These are wonderful! I love them! I tried many, but these were the winners! They are sturdy diapers that will last the test of time and many, many washes! Mine still look like they did the first time I washed them. They even resist staining pretty well and I only have to do very little to keep them bright.
Even though they are sturdy it doesn't diminish their softness one bit. They fit great...my son has chubby legs and they don't leave marks or bother him in any way. I still could see them fitting a thinner baby, though, since they are adjustable.
This is just a very high quality product and VERY Affordable! I was pleasantly surpised by this!

I absolutely love them! No complaints thus far, I only wish I had more. I'm using prefolds as well, and definitely prefer these. They're so much easier and keep his skin a lot drier.
The fit is perfect on my son. He's got some chunky BF thighs and they don't leave red marks on him at all. I don't use the snappy inserts because they make the diaper a little too bulky, but without them they're perfect.

I have overall been very happy with these diapers. They fit well and absorb a lot. Stains which do not come out in the wash amazingly disappear when you line dry in the sun. If you line dry, you'll need to rough the diapers up once dry, as they become stiff as a board (but easily softened again with your hands). One piece of advice on the fit: these diapers fit great on the smallest size when we first started using them. As my son grew out of this smallest size, I tried the next fit (just adjusting the snaps, using the same diaper), but ended up with the front gaping even though the back fit fine. I fixed this by skipping a snap on the front in the middle, rather than just moving over by a snap. This way it gathered the front together more and the gaping closed. My son is on the thinner side; this might not be an issue with a larger child. I have found these diapers to fit well, though you may need to play around with which snaps to snap in order to get the best fit for your child. I recommend these diapers.

Great & absorbent hemp diaper. I love that I have been able to use this for over 5 months, and we still have room to grow before moving up to the toddler size. This is the fitted I always grab when going out, naps, or when I know I will be a while between changes. I use it overnight with the snap in doubler + a microfiber doubler (I have a heavy wetter) and top with a fleece soaker & we are good to go all night.
The hemp does get a little crunchy overtime, but I also line dry.
Wonderfully constructed, and a great workhorse diaper!

My son just turned one and he is about 23 pounds. I bought two toddler size Crickett's Diapers for him to use overnight becase our daytime diapers (Happy Heinys Pockets) didn't hold up for the long hours. We tried stuffing our HHs with extra inserts (still leaked)and also tried prefolds with a wool soaker (the combination was just so bulky and looked uncomfortable for him). So we resorted to using disposables at night, which (as an ecologist) I hated to have to do. This is how I found Crickett's Diapers!
They looked a little big upon arrival (as expected), but after three washings and dryings, they fit my son great with room to grow until potty training. They are very soft and the elastic around the legs is great and not too tight. I'm a seamstress myself and am very picky when I look at other people's work...the quality of these diapers is terrific and it amazes me how talented some people are with their sewing skills. The snap-in doubler is terrific for overnight and even with a wool soaker over the diaper, it would be trim enough for daily wear. I was so nervous to pick up my son the morning after I tried it for the first time, but he was completely dry! I would highly recommend these diapers to any of my friends.

My daughter is 11 months old and weighs 16.5 lbs. Her measurements have been the same for at least the last 3 months: 15-18"" tummy, thighs 10-10.5"" and rise ~15"".
When we first got the diaper I could fasten all 3 snaps on each side. Now it is difficult to do that but if I skip the outermost snaps then the waist is too big. So I skip over the middle ones and that seems to be working right now. So I guess it might be good if there were even more snaps for greater adjustment.
The absorbency is phenomenal! I don't always have to use the snap in soaker, so I love that. Or if I catch it fast enough I can take out the wet soaker and still keep the diaper on her a bit longer! I like the overall simple look of the diaper.
I also love her washing instructions, they are a bit different from most I've seen but I think they are much better & save me water!

crickett's hemp fitteds are an extremely well-made product, i bet they will last through many families- unlike many diapers out there. great hemp material, washes well and very absorbent. the fi is snug around thighs and on the loose side around tummy for some reason, though- maybe it's just my baby's build? but all in all very recommended for the price and quality of fabric and construction.

I have five children, the last two being twins, and have used cloth diapers with all of them. I have been through MANY, MANY diapers of all shapes, sizes, and varieties and these are hands down my favorite. They are super absorbant and do not require more frequent changing than a disposable. They are easy to use (no need for rinsing out dipaers in the toilet), and are very soft. The small size fit my very small twins perfectly when they were only 8 pounds. I definitly recommend these diapers.

I started using these diapers when my baby was 3 weeks old and have been using them for over 2 months now. We also use Bum Genius and prefolds with covers. My baby is in the 60th %ile for size, and Cricket's diapers fit my baby's legs better than any of the others, never leaking (some of the other kinds do unless you get them on just right), and they're super absorbent. When I first started using them, I had a little difficulty fitting them under the covers, but that was quickly solved with larger covers and practice. They do take a little longer to dry than the other kinds (because they're more absorbent), but I just dry them with the others, then hang them overnight to finish. They are nicely made as well, and the snaps are nice as there isn't any velcro to get stuff stuck in. I recommend these to all my friends that are interested in cloth diapers.

Wow, I absolutely LOVE the Crickett diapers! I have a friend that has used cloth diapers through her 2 daughters young years of life and has tried about 5 different brands, with her expertise that I have leaned on, she highly recommended getting the Crickett Diapers as her first choice. I have not been disappointed! I used the larger diapers and larger covers for my second son when he was being potty trained. He loved them because they were so soft and comfy and did not like putting on the expensive pull-ups whenever I needed to use them at times because they were not so soft. The diapers held in all the mess, even with expensive store bought diapers there would be poopy leaks, but not with the Crickett Diapers. I'm amazed at how clean they wash and come out smelling fresh, even my mother was amazed that I didn't have to soak them in a pail and wring them out at each wash. Even though I had a choice to go with diapers with Velcro or snaps I'm thankful I went with the snaps, they may be a bit more work by a small degree, but they are such great quality and look brand new after 6 months of use. Though I have never tried the Velcro diapers, Velcro diapers just don't look like they'll last as long as the snaps.
My second son is now 3 1/2 and I still use the diapers for him in the night time...at times he has accidents. Even though the larger diapers are now a bit snug on him they still hold nearly all of his accidents. When he wakes up, sometimes there will only be a small dot on his sheets from it leaking through the upper tummy area. Still, they amaze me!
I am now pregnant with our third and will be delivering in November. Everyone that has asked me what to get for the baby I instantly reply to them information about how to order the Crickett diapers through the www.crickettsdiapers.com site. I wish I would have known about the diapers with my first son and the younger years of my second son, they're so simple to use. All the ladies who are pre

I love these diapers.
I use a toddler sized crickett at night under wool on my 18lb+ 7 month old little boy and never have a leak.
The fit is great, workmanship is awesome - no lose threads, they hold up well to repeated washing and wearing, and they are by far the most absorbent diaper I've tried that won't need anything added to it to make it through the night. And the price is the best!
Anyone who is looking for an affordable, absorbent, quality fitted can't go wrong with a Crickett!

These are my favorite affordable fitteds! They are the first fitted I hype if somebody is looking for the best bang for their buck due to their great fit, absorbency, reliability, and large size range. They have fit my daughter perfectly since she was tiny. They were our overnight diapers for a couple months, and even now at 8 months old, they are plenty absorbent for errands and day trips. They wash and dry fabulously, and hold up very well. They do lose their softness, but it takes many months for that to happen, and for $12 new, I don't care! Ours still have plenty of life left in them. Plus, the customer service is incredible -- I received an oddly shaped soaker, and they had a new one in the mail to me immediately. I hope they don't make any changes, since I'll be buying their toddler diapers very soon!

These are by far my favorite fitted diaper! My son is at an age where he's pulling off the velcro dipes. So snaps are a must for us. This diaper fits him well and absorbs better than any other fitted we own. I leave him coverless at home and just put on a thirstie cover at night or when we go out. The doubler is incredible! I wish they sold them separately too (you get one with each diaper) I frequently ""steal"" them for added coverage in the AIOs we sometimes use when we go out. Their customer service is awesome as well! They remembered me even after a big move (yes, I've ordered more already). I use this brand more than any other CD we own.

I am the mother of a 13 month old ""super soaker."" I have tried just about every cloth diaper only to be disappointed over and over again by the absorbancy. I read the reviews and decided to try out Crickett's and I am SO glad I did!! I can actually wait 3 hours to change a diaper!! I had been changing my daughter every hour on the hour with my old diapers. These are SO absorbant. I only wish I wouldn't have wasted so much money on other diapers and found these right away!! I would HIGHLY recommend these diapers for anyone with a ""super soaker.""

Green stitching size.
These diapers are very absorbent. We can use them at night with an extra doubler. They seem to be a strudy, quality garment, but that is the only positive things I can say about them.
Here are the cons:
1. Snap in soaker is too short. Makes putting on the diaper annoying.
2. Diaper is very rough after several washes even when using vinegar in wash.
3. Fit is pretty bad on my DD. Gapes at the waist and is tight on the thighs on my average baby. She is well within the recommended weight limits.
4. Soaker snaps in the front contributing to bulk and waist gaping.
5. Snaps are exposed.
6. Very low rise.
This diaper is almost too small on my 6 mo old. I think the company should make three sizes of diapers or make their diapers more adjustable. I think its absurd to think of this diaper fitting my daughter until 20+ lbs or 1 year.

Hey everyone!
I started buying cloth diapers back in Jan. to help out with the mounting costs of diapering. I eventually bought 3 types of diapers and they either did not hold up or they literally fell apart.
One diaper in particular, a contour, was really bad; there was always a smell and it never seemed to dry all the way in the middle. The prefolds I had weren't terrible, but my son is a heavy wetter to say the least. I became very frustrated and upset because we simply didn't have the money to keep buying different diapers.
In Feb., I came across Cricketts Diapers from these boards, carefully weighed the ratings and bought 6 diapers. I have since then combined what I already had along with the 6 diapers from Crickett and I must say, Cricketts diapers are washed EVERY SINGLE DAY and you cannot tell one bit by looking at the diaper that this is the case. They still feel, fit and hold up to the wetness the very same. There is no tearing, thinning or stretching anywhere. They are VERY soft....
I prefer these diapers at all times for long drives, nighttime, theme parks, you name it. They are trim but do a great job! They are adjustable, so my son will be in these until he is out of diapers. I feel secure with this product that it will last until that time. It has already lasted through over 150 washes and still looks new! I follow all the advice on how to wash, how to dry and what covers are best. I have never been happier.
It really touches my heart that there is a product out there being made that is of super high quaility that I can put my money into and not have to feel later that I made a mistake as my item fails me. These are tough times we're in now, and we need to be able to rely on the promise of quaility handed down by our neighbors. To know that there is just one less thing we have to worry about failing us.
Sincerely, if you are looking for an affordable, durable, well made cloth then lo

I am very happy with these diapers. When our baby was a newborn, they were too big for her. At first, I used a chinese prefold in the diaper cover that I purchased from Crickett and that worked fine until she was able to fit into the smaller Crickett's size (green trim). The diapers are very absorbent and I have not had an issue with an offensive odor. I use Charlie's Soap in a front loading machine and have had success getting them clean with few exceptions. I soaked the stained diaper in OXYCLEAN in hot water and then put them through another wash and they came out fine. If I do have an issue with a stain, it has worked best to get it out prior to drying it. Once the stain is ""dried"" in the diaper, I find I can not get the stain out.
The diapers are a bit rougher than I thought they would be given the incredible softness when they were brand new, but like other users have commented, our baby does not seem to mind.
I have had little issue with leakage. The combination of diaper, soaker, and Crickett's cover have offer no serious leakage problems. I do use Burt's Bees diaper ointment on our baby and have no problem with the ointment not coming out of theh diaper in the wash. This diaper ointment usage was a big issue when considering which cloth diapers to use. One brand of cloth diaper that I was considering absolutely banned the usage of diaper rash cream. Therefore that diaper was out of the running for us.
Our daughter's diapers are frequently completely soaked even with use of a soaker insert. However, I have never had her ""complain"" of being uncomfortable even with a wet diaper.
We purchased 18 diapers and 8 covers and have found that in the beginning I was doing diapers every 1 1/2 to 2 days. Now that our daughter is 4 months, I do diapers about every 3 days.
My husband is a definite ""no pin"" diaperer and the snaps on these diapers and covers have worked very well. I did have one diaper th

I love my Crickett's Diapers! I wish I had more. The quality is wonderful, they are very soft, extremely absorbent and the fit is great. The price is very reasonable for such a great diaper. Crickett's customer service is superb. I can not recommend these diapers enough!

I love this diaper. I first used it on my 8 week old boy. He is now 6 months and we still love it. It is super absorbant and our favorite night-time diaper. He sleeps through the night and never wakes up because of wetness. We had trouble with other diapers fitting because he is long with very skinny legs and a very flat bum. But with these, we have had no leaks. I also purchased a cover from Crickett's and it has been great as well.
I haven't had any trouble with the hemp smelling, but I usually hang it out on the line to dry. When I dry it in the dryer, it gets super soft. (As an added bonus, this diaper is very husband-friendly.) Every cloth diaperer should own at least one of these.

These are great. We have started using them more recently because they were a little big on our newborn in the first week or two (8 lbs, 2 oz), but since he reached about 9 lbs they have been fitting well on the smaller snap positions. Now he's over 10 pounds at one month old, and I prefer these to the Kissaluvs 0's because they are so much more absorbant. I love the way the Kissaluvs fit at first, and absorbancy wasn't a problem in the first couple weeks, but his soaking power has increased a lot in the last two weeks! While the Kissaluvs now feel pretty wet on the outside, the Crickett's just feel the tinibit damp when we're using the snap-in soaker. So, I will definitely be keeping the Kissaluvs around for baby #2 to use right away, but I know that Crickett's will be a wonderful long term diaper!!!!!!

Excellently constructed. Very absorbent. Wash well (no signs of wear in a fairly small nighttime diaper rotation).
This is our current diaper of choice for overnights, with the snap-in doubler. As I only have four, I rarely use them during the daytime, but when I do, that, I don't include the doubler, and they are still plenty absorbent.
They're not terribly soft (compared to a velour for example), but neither are they what I'd call rough. I occasionally get some red marks at the back but they don't seem to bother my daughter, go away quickly after the diaper is removed, and may have more to do with my newness to front-snapping cloth diapers than any design issue. They're one of the few front-snapping fitted diapers that allow me to get a snug fit around my daughter's chubby legs without leaving red marks there. I consider that a fair trade-off.

A couple of months ago I purchased one second-quality Crickett's diaper as a tester. I love this diaper! It's very absorbent and easy to put on and take off my DD. It is not automatically as soft without a clothes dryer (we currently live in India where people rarely use dryers), but with a little rubbing and crinkling, it softens right up. I'm definitely planning on buying more and highly recommend it.

Great, trim fit on my dd for such an absorbant diaper! This was the first diaper that worked to absorb my heavy wetter when she first began to sleep longer stretches of time. A really heavy duty diaper for such a trim fit!

I got three of these when the baby was 4 months old and he wore the infant size until he was 13 months when he outgrew the rise. These diapers are very trim, absorbent, and fit my baby perfectly. The hemp french terry was a bit rougher than the hemp fleece, but my baby didn't seem to mind that. Wonderful workmanship, lasted a long time and fit really well.
Because these diapers are made of hemp, they have the issues that come with that material--they can hold onto stink, they seem to stain a bit easier than cotton and are a bit more rough, especially if line dried. If this diaper came in cotton, I would say it would be the perfect fitted.

I bought these diapers mainly because they were one of the cheapest priced fitted diapers online.
I had no idea they would be such great quality. These are awesome diapers.I primarily use prefolds but wanted a few fitted for overnight & trips away from home. These are the nicest fitteds I have purchased.
The quality is fantastic, the fit is perfect and they are super absorbant.
They wash up as beautiful as new.
If I were purchasing fitteds only I would not hesitate to use these exclusively. They fit great and are a cinch to use.
I am using this diaper on a newborn who is a heavy wetter and have had no issues with leaking. They fit more trim than my other brands of fitteds and yet are more absorbant.
They are soft on the bottom too.
The sizing is so flexible you can get a lot of wear in 1 size.
This is one item I will definately re-order when in need I cant say that about some other fitteds I bought for more money.

I did a lot of reasearch before buying diapers this time around. These were highly recommended and I really love these diapers. Thet fit my petite 3 yr old great. I can leave it on all night and there are no leaks. I love the hemp. These are just really great diapers. Thy have held up well. Only problem I have are the Bummis covers don't fit great around his legs. But, that hasn't affected leakage at all.

Cricket's cloth diapers are A+ in my book. I have a little boy that is a very heavy wetter. I tried many other types of diapers for night time but they did not stand up to the test. I have found that Cricket diapers will last the night. They fit very well and I have not had any poos escape from the sides or back. The leg elastic does not seem to leave bad marks on the legs and the waist fits just right. The button system allows for some growth in the waist and the diapers are slim fitted not bulky. Thanks Cricket!

Our Cricketts are some of the most absorbant diapers we own! I was starting to have a hard time pinning my toddlers pf's on and was looking for an inexpensive/quality diaper. Cricketts were just the thing. The fit is great. The streachy tabs and crossover tabs provide a snug fit. These are always the dipes that I grab for that long trip to town, when you know it will be a while between changes. Great diaper for a great price!

Overall: Wow! I can't say enough great things about Cricketts fitted diapers. Cricketts are great quality, great absorbency, inexpensive compared to similar quality items. Crickett ships her diapers fast and follows up on past orders! Bonus: You are supporting a small business of a Work at Home Mom! Read below for more details.
The basics: Cricketts hemp fitted diapers have snap closures and a snap in liner. They are trimmer than many fitted night time quality diapers and not bulkier than your average fitted.
For those new to cloth diapering I will add here that fitted means you must use a cover.
My backstory: We have cloth diapered 2 children and have loved it. BUT with my second child cloth diapering at night was just not working. She is an extrememly heavy wetter and I finally had given up and started putting disposables on her at night. :(
Enter Cricketts fitted!: Finally a sweet Mama on a parenting site I am a member of told me about Cricketts. I thought ""why not?"" I only bought two the first time to try.
They arrived QUICKLY at my home with simple pre wear washing instuctions and a hand signed ""thank You"" on the packing slip.
I followed the instructions and by the next night my little one was wearing them to bed. She slept throught the night and woke up dry. the inside cover was damp but babies skin was dry and the outside of the cover was too. NOTE: First go around I paired Cricketts with a staccinator fleece cover.
I was hooked. I bought a couple of more this time choosing to purchase a bummis snap cover sold on her site at the time. It too worked great as a night cover.
We now no longer need disposables at night and I dont have to change crib sheets every day. My baby is happier and sleeping better at night.

WOW! I didn't think there was any hope for us to use cloth at night, but this diaper does the job. When 2 microfiber inserts don't do the job, this will. And at such a fabulous price. I don't understand why more online stores don't carry these. They are fabulous!
Update after 4 months of use on my now 20 month old:
They are still working great for us. My little guy is not such a heavy wetter at night anymore, some mornings he even wakes up dry!
I generally use this diaper with an additional hemp insert, a Joeybunz, althought lately it seems like I don't need to anymore.
Stink issues:
It's hemp. And for exclusive nighttime use, eventually the stink will get you. Biokleen's Bac Out does wonders. I squirt small amount in a basin, fill with water, and soak the diaper all day.
Roughness:
Again, it's hemp. I actually line dry so mine gets very stiff. I rough it up with my hands. My little guy doesn't mind.
Fit:
We have the larger size and it's continuing to fit fine.

I bought a couple of these diapers used off diaperswappers and loved them so much I went and bought some brand new. I have a very heavy wetter and I love these for nighttime. I can put two Crickett's doublers in the diaper and it'll get my daughter through the night. Hadn't found anything else that worked as well. I also use them during the day. They are trim and wonderfully absorbent. Hold up great, too. Even after many washings they look new.

We have used a Crickett's hemp fleece fitted under a wool soaker every night for the past month on our 3 month old DD, and have had no leaks at all. On a couple of occasions it has lasted 12+ hours, and we have not yet found that we need to add any extra absorbency other than the included soaker. This diaper has also done a great job of containing BF poop. I have found that the fleece has gotten rough after a month of washing, but I also used a super hot wash during most of that month, so that may be the cause. As far as fit goes, our DD is long and lean with skinny thighs, and these diapers fit snugly around the thighs and are not too snug anywhere else.
I bought one of these diapers to try it out, and quickly fell in love with it and bought three more so that we would always have one available for nighttime.
